Here they are! Limited to only 81 pairs in Kobe's shoe size of 14 at the price of 8 hours in the cold and $81.00. Oh and thank you to my GF for being a SOLDIER.
Here is the process...
Got to Venice Beach with my GF at 11 am and was 30 or higher in line. We are given all white t-shirt with www.Why81.com on the front. Now we had to wait in the sun for about 3 hours just to get the passport and clues for the pasport to get stamped. Now off to the 3 locations. Location 1 Venice Beach (next to the basketball courts Location 2 Samy's Camera on Fairfax Blvd. Location 3 Undefeated on LaBrea Blvd. Location 4 Pan Pacific Park on Beverly Blvd. Final and Secret Location Niketown Beverly Hills. After getting a stamp from all 4 locations your stamps should read 9560 Wilshire BH. Now next stop Niketown Beverly Hills. Now we wait in another line.... At least we were given Gatorade and Powerbar. Now we hand in our stamped passports for ticket with a number on it. So my number is 30 and my GF's numer is 31. Next we wait another hour and half in the COLD Brrrrr..... Now they raffle off the 81 pairs of shoes to 240 contestants. So me having a number and my GF having a number gives us a 40% chance of getting the shoes. After 60 people getting their shoes, I started to get really worried, then all of a sudden I hear them call out "Number 30", I was in total shock that my GF had to shake me and tell me to go get my shoes. Now I'm paying for my shoes and all of a sudden I hear them call out "Number 31". So now I'm really in heaven. I think we were the only couple to win a pair of the shoes. Below are the Pictures of the shoes and Enjoy! The shoes are all worth it.
