To commemorate Kobe Bryant’s historic 81 point game, Nike has created [Why81.com] and the Why81 Scavenger Hunt. Similar to the LeBron China Scavenger Hunt, the Why81 Scavenger Hunt consists of four secret locations, beginning at the Staples Center in LA, that must be visited in order to purchase one of 81 pairs of a “historic limited edition anniversary shoe for $81″. The countdown to the day of the 81 point Game Anniversary, Jan.21st, has begun on Why81.com as well.
