Steve Nash had organized a charity soccer match called “The Showdown in Chinatown” which featured all-star participants like the NBA’s Jason Kidd, Baron Davis, David Lee, Leandro Barbosa and Raja Bell, along with professional foot-ballers Thierry Henry, Claudio Reyna, Steve McManaman, and Robbie Fowler. The match was an 8-on-8 on the Nike field at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park on Chrystie Street (between Rivington and Stanton Streets), across the way from Freshness NYC office.

Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Rajah Bell, Baron Davis, Barbosa, Thierry Henry and others joined ESPN's Marc Stein for a charity Soccer game hosted in Chinatown, the Lower East Side.
