GARDENER MEETS NIKE Exhibition + 1:06 Midnight Sale to celebrate
NIKE Hong Kong proudly announce to opening of the flagship store situated at the grade A business area in Central on 29th of September, together releasing the latest Holiday 2006 Sport Culture Collection on HERITAGE RUNNING. To highlight this memorable occasion and to present the strong fusion of SPORT and CULTURE, NIKE proudly invites Hong Kong renowned designer Michael Lau to unveil his famous ‘Gardener’ series with the addition of 3 entirely new Gardener figures. All the 106 Gardener figures will be dressed in NIKE Holiday 2006 outfits and exhibited in the Nike Flagship Store exclusively until 21st of October 2006; also NIKE will launch the first collaboration with Michael Lau and a special sale of the limited edition GARDENER MEETS NIKE collectable series will be held at 01:06 am on 30 September.

Hong Kong NIKE Flagship Store Concept Synchronizes the World
Situated at Des Voeux Road, Central with a total area of 2415 ft, the NIKE Flagship Store follows the global design of all NIKE flagship stores around the world: simple and fresh. To be more customer-friendly, each product category has a specific region for display.
Different from the NIKE SPORT CULTURE Shop in TST, the Flagship Store in Central does not only showcase the SPORT CULTURE sportswear series, but it also set up a special display corner of SPORT PERFORMANCE product series including Basketball, Football, Running and Women’s fitness.
Limited Edition GARDENER MEETS NIKE Collection
To make the event more special, NIKE first time collaborates with Michael Lau and launches the GARDENENR MEETS NIKE limited edition collection. The design is inspired by Skateboarding and GARDENER character, NY FAT. This limited edition will be available for sale at 01:06 am on 30th September, 2006 at NIKE Hong Kong flagship store in Central.
NIKE DUNK LOW PRO SB “Skate:Shoe:Board” - HK$1,999 <=售價約8500新台幣，如果真的炒起來應該又是三四萬吧:kenlu_13: (我想大家都比較關心價錢所以只在這裡做了註解:kenlu_8: )
The shoe box is made of the finest Walnut wood, the pack comes with a 6″ Walnut wood color NY FAT and a mini skateboard wood tag. With design concept originated from Skateboarding thus the limited edition Skate:Shoe:Board features a “WOOD” texture as a key design element. On the heel of the shoes, 4 drill holes graphics has laser crafted on to represent the drill holes on a skateboard. Wording of “gardener meets nike at hong kong flagship 29.09.2006″ is also laser crafted on to the back. Image of original NY FAT is printed also on the sockliner.
T-SHIRT
The 3 limited edition T-shirts are also thoughtfully designed by Michael Lau. The packaging again uses the finest walnut wood as material. Each T-shirt comes with a mini tee in the same graphic and a mini skateboard wood tag.
GARDENER MEETS NIKE - HK$569
With idea also originated from skate board, the wood pattern characterizes the main design concept of the T-shirt.
RUNNING KRYLON - HK$499
Created to symbolize the fleeing of NY FAT after being discovered for spraying Graffiti at night.

Friends and Family Version
At here, Kix-Files is going to release another great info about the Micharl Lau “skate:shoe:board” Dunk SB. Other than Hyperstrike version which we reported, actually there is another NOT FOR SALE version made for Michael Lau’s friends and family only.
Friends and Family version also comes with wooden box. However the box color is lighter than the hyperstrike version. Moreover, the etched laser pattern is more detail and follows traditional Nike box design. To compare with the hyperstrike solid brown midsole, friends and family version is featured by detailed woodgrain pattern. In addition, their insoles are also different, which hyperstrike version is featured NY Fat print but the friends and family version is featured by woodgrain pattern and Nike Flagship Store’s opening infomation.
