It was in 1992 that LeBron James played in his first organized basketball league, with childhood friends Frankie Walker Jr, Sian Cotton, Dru Joyce III, Willie McGee and Romeo Travis. The core group would later go on to attend Saint Vincent Saint Mary’s High School together en route to several State Championships, but it was on the Summit Lake Hornets where the crew learned the early nuances of the game and developed their shared love of basketball. To celebrate his first experiences with the sport, Nike has plans to release a Kid’s exclusive Zoom LeBron Soldier II in his Lake Summit Hornets colors, which were inspired by the Charlotte Hornets uniform colors of the time. Featuring a nubuck upper and faux croc along the sloping support rand, the outsole also features a camo patterned outsole. Look for these to launch in just a few weeks at the end of July

What's up kids and I mean kids. There are two Lebron Soldier II QS launching 7/8 and 8/8. Grade school sizes only.
The 7/8 launch is for his Summit Lake Hornets team from Akron he played for at age 8 in 1992. Team colors are exactly like the Charlotte Hornets...weird I know. The shoe comes with a poster that is two sided. One side has a cartoon look at LBJ when he was 8 and a bigger Lebron draped with a USA flag. The other side has tatoo simbolizing The Lion and other family call outs. Sorry I forgot to ask for the price. Probably around $90.
Then on 8/8 the day the Olympics start Nike is launching a USA inspired shoe with the Lion tatoo on the upper. On the poster it states Lebron was inspired by the Original Dream Team. There will be shirts that will match each shoe but will not be in the store for tomorrows 7/8 launch. Both tongues have a hole for easy on access and the back tab had a Hornet and USA on them. I could only snap these pics but will get more tomnorrow when I go back to NTSF. They will also launch at NTNY, NTC and the Beaverton employee store.
