[DAMNK!D] ATL to Texas. road trip!

[DAMNK!D]

上個月放寒假. 只有短短一個月. 一回到ATL馬上被抓去當做帳跟顧店. 心得: 會計真不是人幹的!! 原定的計畫也只能跟在下大學的畢業日期一樣一延再延. 由於在下所在的south side 上下左右東南西北開車所及的大城市我都跑遍了. 所以這次的目標就定在Texas德州鐵三角.
主要規劃都是以聖經為主. 所謂的聖經就是NIKE retail locater.
大概的路線如下: Atlanta, GABossier city, LADallas, TXAustin, TXSan Antonio, TXHouston, TXNew Orleans, LAAtlanta, GA
途經: Georgia, 牛比人多的Alabama, 窮到被鬼抓走的Mississippi, 窮到也被鬼抓走的Louisiana, 什麼都變大的Texas
總里程數: 3000miles=4800公里

Day1 @Bossier city, LA
出發的第一天. 里程數: 9小時. 因為跨了時區. 所以到達Bossier city的時候還有時間逛outlet. Outlet的店員很驚訝的問我: 你怎麼找到這邊的?? 我說我都是專找NIKE factory store. 整個城市給我的感覺就是: 窮!窮!窮!! 別說照相了. 出了outlet我連停紅綠燈都會怕.
因為旅館沒定好. 所以不得不住在離downtown三十秒的motel. 結果就是開了九個小時之後我還可以整晚沒睡. The whole place’s just hood than the hood…

Day2 @ Dallas, TX Back to the big city and back to the civilization
里程數:3.5小時 因為下雨
晚上十一點開始收到短訊. HAPPY NEW YEAR. 一直到我倒數完我才想到Georgia比我早一個小時.
基本上Dallas是個很不錯的City. 道路規劃ˋ建築ˋ人口組成整體都讓我覺得很舒服. 加上這次的旅館定的很好. 安全而且舒服. 所以讓我對達拉斯的映像大大加分!
1st stop: Galleria Dallas 相當不錯的mall

因為是New Year eve所以什麼東西都沒開. 好不容易找到的steak house. 運氣不錯. 價格OK味道也OK!!

Day3 @ Dallas, TX 2010年的第一天
來到Dallas就應該要去的地方.
JFK被刺殺的地點.

太陽很大.但是氣溫只有38F. 大約是零到一度C.

不得不提一下Dallas的highway. 我也算跑遍美國蠻多大城市了. 目前就屬達拉斯的highway設計讓我開的最舒服. 也是這城市給我映像最深的地方.

Day5 from Austin-> San Antonio-> Houston
沿途經過了號稱大到爆炸的San Macros凹累…. 個人覺得大是大. 但是不怎麼樣! 就是大. 大大大…

@San Antonio 這是個完完全全北老墨佔領的都市. 在這裡. 感覺白人黑人才是少數民族…..

San Antonio有名的River Walk….真的很漂亮. 但是與德州所有東西都大大大恰好相反…. Riverwalk的river有的部分真的小的讓人很怕他乾掉.

Day8 @ New Orleans
機緣巧合之下. 我們的旅館剛好定在French Quarter. 美國唯一的法雨區. 也是唯一可以拿酒在街上喝的地方.
整個地方就像再髒一點然後冷的要死的Miami.也是少數三更半夜滿街都是人的地方.

從法語區開五分鐘就到熱鬧的大街跟一堆辦公大樓. 再開五分鐘就到相單破爛的貧民區. 很強烈的對比.

越開越刺激. 其實也只有十來分鐘的距離.

到底有多窮. 在這個區裡面有的NIKE outlet. 店的門口一直都有警察. 店裡也有security. 我跑了幾十家NIKE outlet只有這裡跟Memphis的有有槍的警衛…..

Heading back to ATL….
回程是海線. 沿路風景都很漂亮. 因為邊開邊逛邊玩. 大概開了十三個小時左右就到家了.
