今天是NCAA男籃冠軍戰，為此NBA賽事今天休兵，教頭Roy Williams所帶領的北卡大，繼1957、1982、1993、2005年，第五次奪得NCAA男籃總冠軍，隊中先發大將本季也將參加2009年NBA選秀，其中Ty Lawson#5、Tyler Hansbrough#50、Wayne Ellington#22、Danny Green#14都預期是前兩輪的球員，場邊北卡大校友Michael Jordan、Vince Carter、Antawn Jamison等人，密西根州大校友Magic Johnson都到場觀戰，受關注的程度可見一班．
