Last month Sneaker News showed you new images of an upcoming Nike Kobe shoe in an all-black colorway. Whether it is a Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6), Dream Season III (3), or perhaps a new Kobe shoe has yet to be determined, but it clearly falls within the Nike Kobe lineage. Here’s a look at a new White/Purple colorway of this curious shoe; the design aspects are nearly similar to the Black/White Sample we showed you before – snakeskin graphic on the toe, embossed snakeskin applique on the heel-bumper – but take a look at the heel and you’ll see the word ‘Venomenon’ stamped on the upper midsole area, an obvious play on words alluding the Kobe Bryant’s slithery alter ego, the ‘Black Mamba‘. The updated tech-specs of this upcoming Kobe features updated traction as well as a new full-length basketball-specific Zoom Air cushioning unit, going from 16mm at the heel and tapering down to 6mm at the forefoot, which signifies two things: better comfort and probable higher price-point. In these images, the Samples sit atop a newly designed box (but could just be a makeshift podium). Continue reading for another look at this upcoming Kobe shoe and let us know what you think of the design

That is basicly how they look, the shoe starts off leather and then tapers to flywire around the toe area and heal area. They put alot of time and detail on the bottom of the shoe trying to improve the traction. Also they are going with the full length zoom air bag with which I was told it starts at about 16mm in the heel and also tapers to about 6mm around the toe area. The colors are also going to be tapered which nike likes to call gradient. All the colorways with clear bottoms are going to be the best colorways. There is going to be a patent leather colorway with a gum bottom that looks just like the jordan xi's. With all the detail that is put in this shoe im wondering what the final price tag will be. This will most likely out perform the iv,v with there focus on out the box comfort and max traction.
