"In the summer of 2003, weeks before he go into trouble with that blonde from Colorado, Kobe signed a 5 year deal with Nike for $45 Miillion. Though it took nearly half way through his contract to get his own signature shoe, ironically one of the most popular models he has worn were the Huarache 2K4s.
In the fall of 2004, Nike released the first lasered version of the Huarache 2K4 being the first pubically released shoe to bear Kobe’s name. There have been a few versions of the lasered 2K4s released since, but none that look nearly as good as these. Purple has been a hot color this past year and looks great on these 2K4s. These are available now on Eastbay. Heads up thanks to shoes604 at NikeTalk."

據NT版友shoes604的說法此鞋已經在美國地區上市，售價部分應該跟其他雷射版的2k4一樣為139.99美金，希望其他地方也有發售的計畫。
