臺灣時間 4 月 14 日 NBA 例行賽告一段落後，各項數據排名陸續出爐，與此同時也有一些想都沒想過的趣味統計在網路上傳開，比如《Nice Kicks》稍早這則報導即指出，整個例行賽有球員在對陣灰狼隊時穿新鞋 (泛指新款或新配色) 的狀況多達 19 次，並問大家認為其中原因為何？
貼文發出後到目前為止累積超過 150 則討論，有人猜想是不是因為比賽剛好碰上全國轉播的關係，曝光度高自然有誘因讓人拿出新貨色；也有人覺得這根本沒什麼，那是因為許多球員常常在換鞋，更甚者 LeBron James 本季還有中場就改穿新色的情況；而其中也見到 adidas Basketball 的帳號現身留言，用短短一句話給出神回覆。

adidas Basketball 如此說道，以《Complex Sneakers》於 2024 年底給予的肯定，直接幫自家少主 Anthony Edwards 再做了一波討論熱度，社群操作人員該加雞腿了吧？
