去年 12 月 Kyrie Irving 與 Nike 達成共識提前終止合約，成為自由身之後雖然依舊穿著自己的簽名鞋，但都會將鞋身的 Nike 標誌遮蓋住，寫上他想傳遞的訊息。而就在今天稍早隨對於曼菲斯客場練球時，Kyrie Irving 竟然是換穿 Ethics LG Two 現身，也使得 ESPN 記者好奇詢問其原因。
Ethics LG Two 是出自前 NBA 球員 Langston Galloway 創立的自有品牌，兩年前效力於太陽隊的他，曾在隨隊打進 NBA 總冠軍賽時發表初代簽名鞋 lgONE，當時也引發了一陣注目。
這回 Kyrie Irving 所穿的 LG Two 則是 Ethics 還未對外發售的新鞋，對於改穿新品牌、甚至還是別人的簽名鞋這個舉動，Kyrie Irving 向 ESPN 記者 Tim MacMahon 表示：“I wanted to show him (指 Langston Galloway) some love”

“I wanted to show him some love,” Irving told ESPN.
Irving left open the possibility of wearing Ethics during game action.

至於是否有進一步合作的可能？球員與品牌雙方目前皆未透露任何訊息，僅看到 Langston Galloway 本人和 Ethics 的社群平台帳號陸續轉發了此消息，表示感謝之意。或許未來能看到 Kyrie Irving 循 Langston Galloway 的模式，乾脆「自己的鞋子自己出」也說不定。

Kyrie Irving 雖然有參與賽前練習，但因右腳痠痛的關係最終並未被登錄。
