Personally, I think Asics and Mizuno are making way better running shoes than Nike at a more reasonable price. Whenever I go on business trip to the States, I tend to pick up Asics or Mizuno running shoes there. However, the only down side, and this could be a good things for some people, is that Mizuno shoes usually have wider toe boxes.
